As our name suggests, we at Pointe Ahead Pilates are always looking forward. Using an innovative blend of traditional mat work, state-of-the-art Reformer equipment, and contemporary STOTT Pilates® techniques, our team will help you to become the version of yourself you want to be.

Pilates is a highly versatile form of exercise. Pointe Ahead Pilates recognises this versatility, and embraces it. When every person who walks through our doors is unique, why offer classes that are anything else? Pilates is used by dancers, athletes, and even celebrities like Adele, Meghan Markle and Chris Hemsworth who uses Pilates as part of his training for strenuous roles and events!

Pilates focuses on developing longer, leaner muscles, muscular control, flexibility and core strength. By making you more aware of your body, Pilates can become an invaluable component of any workout regimen, whether you’re looking to build strength, lose weight, maintain flexibility, or are seeking rehabilitation after an injury.

Reformer Classes

The thing that really sets Pointe Ahead Pilates apart is our equipment. While the Reformer might look scary, it has proven benefits for increasing strength and endurance. As well as improving posture, balance and flexibility this form of resistance exercise makes it the best friend of anyone seeking to take control of their fitness. Still feeling intimidated? Not a problem. Our highly trained staff will guide you through a free induction session before your first reformer class.

Tower Classes

Similar to the Reformer as it uses springs to provide resistance and support, the Tower is half a Cadillac which is one of the first pieces of equipment created by Joesph Pilates. The stable mat makes it less daunting and is a great launch pad to some of the more advance exercises on other pieces of equipment.

Mat work

We offer traditional mat work classes to suit all levels of fitness and experience. Unsure of your level? Not to worry! Discounted taster classes are available for those discerning customers who prefer to try before they buy. To learn more about STOTT Pilates®, click here.

Private Sessions

Does your schedule not allow you to attend regular classes? Do you require a more specialised approach? Or do you just want to make the most out of guaranteed face-to-face training with a fully qualified instructor? Whatever the reason, Pointe Ahead Pilates’ 1:1 sessions are there to support you. All of our instructors are fully qualified, with backgrounds in dance, personal training, and of course – Pilates! Each of our instructors can tailor a regimen to suit your individual needs.
